WHAT WE CHECK
Follow the rupee
through the order.
- 01
Revenue you keep
Separate discounts, refunds and GST from the sales figure used in your growth plan.
- 02
Contribution before ads
Include product cost, packaging, shipping, payment fees and the costs of failed deliveries.
- 03
Acquisition headroom
Work back from contribution to a break-even ROAS and a first-order acquisition ceiling.
- 04
The next budget decision
Compare the ceiling with current spend. Identify the offer, landing page or creative changes to examine before scaling.
HOW IT WORKS
A cost sheet in.
A decision out.
- Book a slot. Share your store URL and the growth decision you are working on.
- Bring the inputs. Use one completed month's net revenue, ad spend, order costs and new-customer count.
- Work through the maths. On the call, check the inputs and calculate the headroom together.
- Keep the working. Leave with a written calculation, the assumptions that need checking and the next changes to prioritise.
Use the written calculation to set your next acquisition budget and prioritise changes to your offer, ads or landing pages.
Questions at the desk
Is the profit review free?
Yes. The review call is free. You can use the notes without hiring Boring Commerce.
What should I bring?
Bring a recent monthly summary of net sales, ad spend, product and fulfilment costs, refunds and first-time customers. A spreadsheet is enough. Do not include customer names or payment details.
Do you need account access?
The first review can use the summary you choose to share. If deeper work needs view access, we agree that scope with you separately.
Is this an accounting or tax service?
The review sets paid growth decisions around your trading economics. Boring Commerce manages paid ads, creatives, landing pages and retention. Your accountant should confirm tax treatment and statutory accounts.
